Asian Foods Australia Pty Ltd is the largest Queensland based Asian Food Wholesale and retail specialist outside of Brisbane. Based in Cairns, Asian Foods Australia supplies both food service, wholesale and retail markets, throughout Queensland, Torres Strait Islands and overseas.

Imported as well as Australian products are also value added for wholesale and retail distribution.
It is the largest distributor of Australian grown rice in North Queensland.

Asian Foods was established in 1988
In 1998, Asian Foods Australia expanded its operations to include the manufacture and marketing of Asian style curry paste, chilli sauces and condiments, using primarily locally grown produce - chillies, fresh herbs, mangoes and macadamias.

Sim Hayward has developed her own recipes, with an initial of 8 products, which has since been extended to its current range of 16.

New product development is an ongoing process to meet consumer demands and trends in the marketplace with locally grown produce being the key ingredients.

Current domestic distribution is through Coles Queensland Supermarkets as well as, specialist Asian stores and gourmet delicatessens in 5 eastern states.

Overseas markets are actively sought and current distribution includes Noumea.

Products are distributed under the registered AFA and SIM's brands.
